Resurfacing without aggression.

A chemical peel is a controlled, calibrated exfoliation. The acid dissolves the bonds between dead and dying surface cells; what lifts is what was leaving anyway. The skin underneath — fresh, even, better-organised — is what does the actual work.

We use six acids, selected by skin type and concern: glycolic for brightening, mandelic for sensitivity, salicylic for oil and congestion, lactic for hydration, TCA for deeper resurfacing, and Jessner's for combination cases. Strength and frequency are written for you, not for a standard.

A course runs four to six sessions, spaced two to four weeks apart, with a written review halfway through. We adjust strength upward only when the previous session has settled completely.

Six acids, matched to skin.

Hover or tap a peel to see what it does and where it is typically applied. The choice is rarely a single acid — most courses sequence two or three across visits as the skin progresses.

The things most often asked.

If your question isn't here, write to us. We answer every enquiry — usually the same day.

Ask the practice →
Will my skin peel visibly?+
Most patients have light, even flaking that lasts three to seven days — visible if you look closely but not dramatic peeling. We do not provoke heavy peeling; that is an outdated marker of 'a good peel.' Deeper TCA peels produce more visible shedding and we will tell you that in advance.
Is it safe for Indian skin?+
Yes — with the right acid, the right prep, and the right sun discipline. Indian skin (Fitzpatrick IV–V) marks readily, which is precisely why we sequence carefully and start gently. We never use aggressive peels in unprepared skin.
Can I wear makeup the same day?+
After twenty-four hours, with mineral SPF underneath. The day of the peel, we recommend going home bare-faced. From day two, lighter skincare and makeup as usual.
Sun exposure — how strict?+
Very. Broad-spectrum mineral SPF 50 every morning, reapplied through the day, with a wide-brim hat outdoors. Without this, the peel can produce more pigmentation than it removes — common in Indian skin.
How often through the year?+
A course of four to six every two to four weeks, then quarterly maintenance. Some patients alternate between two acids depending on the season — gentler in summer, deeper in winter.
Combined with other treatments?+
Yes — peels pair well with mesotherapy, microneedling, and topicals. We never combine on the same day; we sequence over a fortnight so the skin recovers between each.

Forty-five minutes,
unhurried.

The first consultation is examination first — under good light, magnification where indicated. If a peel isn't the right answer for your skin today, we'll say so.
