Rolling and boxcar atrophic scars, where the tissue is lost beneath the surface. Treated by building the base back up.
- Rolling and boxcar scars
- Tissue lost beneath surface
- Microneedling or MNRF
Layered protocols for atrophic, rolling and ice-pick scars.
Combination of microneedling, MNRF, subcision, peels and resurfacing — sequenced to maximum effect.
Acne scar revision is layered, not single-treatment. We assess scar type (atrophic, rolling, boxcar, ice-pick, hypertrophic), then design a sequenced protocol combining subcision (for tethered scars), microneedling with PRP, MNRF, fractional resurfacing and chemical peels. Realistic improvement: 50–80% over a year. Full erasure is rarely achievable.
We sequence acne scar reduction into a course that respects how skin actually changes — visible result by the end of the schedule, with a written review at the halfway mark. Strength is stepped up only when the previous session has settled completely.
A consultation precedes the first session: examination, history, and a written plan delivered the next morning. We do not double-book.
Hover or tap any indication for context. The decision to treat depends on the examination — we explain plainly when it is the right answer and when it is not.
Quick, focused sessions. Cleansing, treatment, soothing finish.
Sequenced over four to six months, with topical maintenance throughout.
Quoted in person after a full assessment. The practice does not publish prices online.
If your question isn't here, write to us. We answer every enquiry — usually the same day.
Ask the practice →Scar type decides the treatment. A scar is subtyped before anything is planned, because atrophic, hypertrophic and pigmented scars need different tools.
Rolling and boxcar atrophic scars, where the tissue is lost beneath the surface. Treated by building the base back up.
Ice-pick scars — narrow, deep pits. The hardest type to improve, and we are candid about the limits before you commit.
Raised hypertrophic scars sitting above the skin, treated to flatten rather than to resurface.
Post-inflammatory marks left after acne clears. Pigment fades with time and with the right support.
Treatments we may plan alongside acne scar reduction, depending on what the examination actually shows.
